WCC Africa Continental Council Announcement
Nigeria Appointed Lead Nation – Africa Continental (2025–27)
WCC International Proudly Congratulates Nigeria on its Appointment as the Lead Nation for the Africa Continental Council for the term 2025–2027.
This leadership role reflects Australia’s commitment to unity, Christian leadership, and its vision to ignite faith-driven transformation across the continent.
We look forward to the fresh momentum and collaborative spirit this new season will bring!
In addition to this Honorable Appointment, we are Delighted to Announce that WCC – India has been Entrusted with Two Key Global Responsibilities:
WCC India will now oversee and guide international digital strategy, ensuring consistent, impactful outreach through media across continents.
In strategic collaboration with the WCC Africa Continental Team, India will Spearhead Global Media Promotion Efforts for the WCC's bold Anti-Drug Initiative
"Honoring the Torchbearers of Faith whose lives, leadership, and legacy continue to awaken a generation and shine the Light of Christ."
The selection of these respected figures has taken place through one or more of the following channels:
Self-nomination by the leaders themselves
Nomination by WCC Council Members (International, National, or State level)
Recommendation by the WCC World Council or its regional chapters
Direct communication or personal meetings with WCC leadership. We believe that inspiration flows through both well-known and emerging voices in the Christian world. WCC welcomes recommendations of spiritual leaders and role models whose lives reflect Christ’s mission. Council members or ministry partners may suggest new names for future consideration as Spiritual Patrons or Inspirational Leaders.
WCC Ghana is currently undergoing a process of updating and adding new names to our list of Spiritual Patrons, Guides, and Inspirations.
The updated list will be published on or before 1st July 2025.
In the meantime, any WCC member may suggest Christian leaders whose lives and ministries inspire others.
Together, we continue to honor the legacy of leadership and answer the call to shine the light of Christ across the nations.
Thank you, and God bless you!
