WCC–News Net is a visionary media initiative under the World Christian Council (WCC) and WCC Business Connect (WCC-BC), dedicated to amplifying truth, faith, and transformation through responsible journalism and media excellence.
Through WCC–News Net, we are launching news channels and media platforms across nations, giving every region the opportunity to establish and administer its own WCC-News Net channel—from national to state, regional, district, and city levels. Each channel will focus on positive news, social impact stories, faith-based features, business ethics, and community development—all grounded in Christian values.
WCC and WCC-BC also actively produce Short Films, Albums, Documentaries, and Awareness Campaigns to promote faith, family values, and a responsible business culture. These creative initiatives empower Christian entrepreneurs, artists, journalists, and media professionals to influence society while glorifying God.
As part of this initiative, all members will receive specialized training in:
Digital promotion and branding
News reporting and production
Media ethics and literacy
Leadership in Christian communication
Channel management and broadcast operations

The World Christian Council (WCC) International Committee is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Secretary Generals in key member nations across all six continents. This global leadership initiative marks a new chapter in advancing unity, strategic mission, and spiritual governance throughout the international Christian community.
These appointments were formally announced today at the WCC International Headquarters:
Level 8, Global Faith Centre, 88 Geneva Street, Geneva 1202, Switzerland.
"After a rigorous and prayerful selection process, the following leaders have been appointed as Secretary Generals in their respective countries for the term from 5th May 2025 to 31st March 2028."

Switzerland / Geneva : The World Christian Council (WCC) is pleased to announce the official launch of its Global Membership Registration and Leadership Campaign for the upcoming 2025–2028 term. This milestone initiative aims to welcome New Believers, Empower Emerging Leaders, and Strengthen the Christian Mission Across All Nations.

From July 1 to June 30, 2026, the WCC is conducting its largest-ever membership and leadership drive, encouraging committed Christians from around the world to join as active members. Registered members will receive:
Official WCC Photo ID and Global Member ID Number
Eligibility to serve on National and State Councils
Access to WCC Networks, Career Referrals, Pilgrimage Events, Media Projects, and more
Opportunities for youth in music, arts, sports, and value-based films
This campaign also focuses on identifying Spiritual Patrons, Guides, and Inspirational Leaders who can mentor and uplift the next generation of faithful leaders at the international, continental, national, and state levels.

WCC Strengthens Anti-Drug and Moral Integrity Campaigns
As part of its broader social mission, the WCC is intensifying its efforts in anti-drug and anti-substance abuse campaigns, particularly among Christian youth. Educational programs, awareness workshops, and community partnerships will be launched in multiple regions throughout the year.
The Council affirms that spiritual growth must walk hand in hand with moral strength, and calls upon churches, educators, and parents to join this movement for a healthier Christian society.

Leadership Update: Central Committee Confirms Continuity of Secretary Generals
In a resolution passed by the WCC Central Committee, it has been officially confirmed that all current Secretary Generals at the national level will continue their leadership roles for the 2025–2027 term. This decision was made in the interest of Stability, Unity, and Mission Continuity across all WCC - Registered countries.
The Central Committee acknowledges the dedication and faithful service of these leaders and calls upon all members to support them as they guide the next phase of the WCC’s Mission.
